The problem here is that most web applications don’t require it. If you have a web page that provides a user interface, you really won’t need it. You can do more than just manipulate CSS values, you can use LESS to manipulate other things. For instance, if you want to create a background that is a little lighter than your body, you can do that easily by adding a little bit of color to your body and adding a negative margin-top to the background. Then you can use LESS to make the background appear to be dark, or light.
